About Me

Photography first sparked Kayla Bowen’s interest in high school, working on the yearbook. Unfortunately there wasn’t a photo class available to her in high school, but she kept shooting. In her senior year she decided she wanted to make a career of her passion. It was then she started researching photography schools in the area and chose Hallmark Institute of Photography. She studied through their intense 10-month program during 2006/2007.
Kayla is a photography generalist right now. Her main areas of interest are wedding, band and event photography. She’s inspired by her love of weddings, and close relationships with local bands. Her style is spontaneous and unique, while tyring to keep it simple, focusing on details and special moments.
